Our Garden to Table program provides elementary schools in Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) with the resources and support to build vegetable gardens and create hands-on learning experiences for students with growing, preparing and eating healthy food. The theme based program allows teachers to integrate lessons with core curriculum and nurture the knowledge, skills and behaviors that lead to wellness and connectedness to their community and natural environment.

We’re THRILLED to announce that we were one of 52 organizations nationwide to receive the USDA Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant. These funds will help us maintain and expand our Garden Educator program, and deepen our relationship with . It means a lot for our work to be recognized and supported in this way! 💚🌼🥬

Happy weekly Wednesday highlight! Today we’re highlighting our amazing Garden Educator, Carol! In her free time, she is an incredible ceramic artist. Catch her this weekend at the Boulder County Fairgrounds selling her work and propping up other potters at the Boulder potters guild Spring Sale! 🏺🥬🌼

It’s hard to believe our first lettuce harvests have already happened this season! Nice work to the Uni Hill 2nd Graders for harvesting so much yummy lettuce for their cafeteria on Friday! 🥬🥬🥬

If you’re like us, you probably want to keep celebrating Earth Day! Well now you can! Join us in Lafayette next Saturday (May 2nd) for this super fun event. We’ll have games and crafts, and there will be tons of other booths, electric vehicles, and musical performances to check out. See you there! 👋

Happy weekly Wednesday Spotlight!! Today we’re highlighting our amazing intern Brooke. She is graduating from college this week (yay!), and she has been truly wonderful to have on staff. When she’s not helping in the greenhouse or at events, she loves spending her time hiking, skiing, and studying astrology and ecology. We’re grateful we got to have her helping out this Spring, and we know she’s going to do big things in the world!

Happy weekly Wednesday staff highlight! Today we’re highlighting one of our amazing garden coordinators: Kelly-Marie! This is Kelly-Marie’s second year on our team as a GC, and she’s just wonderful. Outside of GTT, you can find her spending time with her new baby, sewing quilts, and organizing poetry events for Beyond Academia Free Skool. We’re so glad to have her on the team! 💚🌼

Our biggest fundraising event of the year is only a couple of months away! Early bird tickets are on sale now, so make sure to swoop some up for the . This year the tour will take place in North Boulder (for the first time ever), and it will be on June 27th! We hope to see you there! 👋🌸🌼

Did you know is offering screen printing before our Earth Day Event on April 22nd? Show up at the store with something you want this design on, and they’ll screen print it right then and there! This printing extravaganza will take place from 5pm-6pm, and our ticketed event will start at 6pm! All donations and proceeds directly benefit Garden to Table! 💚🌎🌱
