After the birth of my first child my impossible task was paperwork. I would look at it build up on my kitchen table and shudder. Days when sleep came and I felt slightly better I could leaf through some papers and was amazed at home manageable it could be if I would deal with it regularly. Then again the sleepless nights and depression would settle back in on my shoulders and the stack would start again.
One of the most discouraging parts of mental illness is when your thought processes don't even make sense to you, but that doesn’t bring you any closer to overcoming them.
