I use nutritional and supplemental guidance, customized herbal remedies, as well as lifestyle adaptation to assist in vitalizing the body & spirit with the tools needed for optimal healing. My goal is for each client to feel more in touch with who they truly are and to know and feel the potential of their own vital energy. We have yet to discover the extent of the body's potential to heal itself g

iven ideal conditions. We have become accustomed to supposed solutions that have an immediate reaction in the body, whose mechanisms work by actually silencing the signal the body is sending us instead of supporting the system and healing the area in need. You may have already experienced how much self-educating there is to do to take care of oneself in a true sense, outside of conventionally taught medicine. We have added challenges these days such as results of over-prescribing of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals, and soil depletion where our once mineral-rich vegetables grow. We can heal these systems eventually....but the best place to begin is in understanding and healing that system from the inside out. There is much humbling and much learning in it. And I can tell you from experience that there is joy in this! I begin by studying our intake of your case and identifying areas of stagnation in the body and the mechanisms which led or is leading to them. I follow both Vitalist and Wise-Woman healing philosophies, as well as those of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Functional Medicine.

Our emotions, spirit, mind, and body are single unit. They only feel separate when they have lost their natural communication.

I work from a deep sense of resonance with the natural world. Initially it was my mother who set the seeds for my inclination to be a healer. She brought me to the world of plants. In a tiny suburban backyard she created a rose garden that grew impossibly high with her love of fairies and flowers and the dirt. I felt magic there that I look for in everything. It continues to kindle my excitement of the mysteries of plants and our relationship on this earth with them. She has had MS my whole life and my desire to heal her was constant, and became a strong thread throughout my life. So much so that I was diagnosed with the same illness a few years back. I am so grateful to be standing in this perspective. It has led me to an even more profound understanding of the roots of illness. Each ailment is a picture, not a word. Each person is unique, and how that picture is portrayed is different every single time. I look for the threads of each client; the ones that flow in and through their relationship to themselves, their world, and their past. I have studied why illness forms, and how it can hold on..and also how it can let go.

I have studied with The Herbal Academy of New England- Intermediate and Advanced Clinical Herbal Programs. I have done workshops with Deb Soule, founder of Avena Botanicals in Rockport, ME
I have also apprenticed with Kristin Schuch, RN, BSN, CHT; co-owner of Apothecary Tinctura in Denver, who specializes in clinical herbalism, Mayan abdominal therapy, and traditional healing. As well as with Adrian Mintzmyer, CCH, CN; owner of Mountain Herbalism in Denver, clinical herbalist, certified nutritionist, and botanist.
