Consistency grows trustworthiness with yourself! It’s so common (for women especially) to be totally inconsistent in taking good care of their bodies/minds/hearts/spirituality by the time they reach Midlife. Most women are caretakers by nature and therefore always take responsibility of carrying/managing for people, and the mental load. They put themselves LAST ON THE LIST.
This is often a result of deep seeded lack of worthiness, and avoiding the discomfort of whatever has been stuffed down for decades. Women (and men) in Midlife are confronted with a period of reckoning. It’s a life stage where you must decide what stays and what must go. Where you must start paying attention and being devotional, deliberate, and consistent with what matters the most. Anything not aligned with those truths must change, or be let go.
