The Lucia N°03 is a hypnogogic light machine. Hypnagogia, the state between wakefulness and sleep, is a profound state for visions, clearing stress and worry and enhancing creativity. Developed by neurologist Dirk W. Proeckl and psychologist Engelbert Winkler from Austria, the Lucia N3 combines a wide-spectrum steady light which varies in intensity, and a stroboscopic light, which varies in speed and intensity. ‘Light Travelers’ experience extraordinary visions of color and form, which are uniquely created by their brains. Some light travelers describe their time in the light as a type of out-of-body experience (OBE), while others report deeply meditative states, positive memories, clearings, etc.
