WOAH.
Look at how much a car crash reduced the stability of an already vulnerable spine.

This is exactly why, at Katz Chiropractic, we don’t eyeball spinal alignment — we measure it. Objective imaging and precise analysis matter, especially when pre-existing weaknesses are involved.

Insurance companies may argue, as they often do. But the reality is clear: her symptoms significantly worsened, and the objective findings speak for themselves. This is measurable change, not opinion.

Bad posture and cervical kyphosis are NOT the same thing.

They can exist together, or they can exist independently—but they are not interchangeable diagnoses.

Posture is how you hold yourself.
Cervical kyphosis is a structural spinal deformity that can only be diagnosed by proper imaging, not by visual observation or a postural screen alone.

Be very cautious if a therapist tells you they can “fix your cervical kyphosis” based solely on watching you stand or sit—without reviewing X-rays or other spinal images. That is not an accurate or complete evaluation.

If imaging confirms a true cervical kyphosis, treatment options are limited. Outside of surgery, only a small number of evidence-based structural correction approaches—such as Chiropractic Biophysics® (CBP®)—have demonstrated the ability to improve cervical spinal alignment.

Exercises alone do not correct structural cervical kyphosis.

Posture matters. Movement matters. Strength matters.
But structure requires structural solutions—and those start with the right diagnosis.

Car crash. Multiple providers. No one addressed—or even acknowledged—patients sagittal alignment. Once it was finally evaluated and corrected, everything changed. Today, he has a significantly better quality of life.

🚨 Patients — let’s talk about DMX (Digital Motion X-Ray). 🚨

Are you frustrated that some providers are doing minimal or “fake” DMXs…
—or worse, not recommending DMX at all, relying only on static images that don’t show how your spine actually moves?

Are you even more frustrated when you do get a DMX, but the provider only looks at one bone, one view, or one finding, completely missing the rest of the story?

👉 A proper DMX isn’t about a single frame or a single bone.
👉 It’s about evaluating motion, instability, ligament injury, and functional breakdown—in real time.

I’d like to do a LIVE Facebook DMX Review where I, Dr. Evan Katz, DC, walk through an actual DMX, explain what we look for, what the findings may mean, and how we’ve helped many patients with similar injuries.

📌 No fluff. No shortcuts. Just education.

If you’re interested, drop a comment or message below, and I’ll put the video together for you.

Your spine deserves more than a quick glance.
