We still have a few spaces on our FREE Staunton State Park Adaptive Initiative Course (ACI). Happening August 16-17, this ACI is designed to prepare leaders in the climbing industry with the “tool-kit” necessary to accommodate climbers of any and all abilities in their programs/facilities. This comprehensive training program will cover the diversity of disability, etiquette, health concerns, and technical systems for adaptation. The expert anecdotes and lessons provided serve adaptive athletes, climbing wall instructors, outdoor guides, physical therapists, and well-being advocates of all types.

It's with heavy hearts we say goodbye to one of our favorite local community members.

Skyler Holmes was an outstanding volunteer and wonderful addition to every program he joined. He and his family are regulars on our Elevenmile and Lake City trips, always going above and beyond to support everyone in the most meaningful ways.

For anyone from the Paradox Sports community who is interested, there will be a memorial service at Noon this Friday, July 25th at John Venezia Park in Colorado Springs. Please consider donating to the family's gofundme if you're able so we can give back even a sliver of the support a Skyler gave to us.

Thank you Skyler. You will be missed.

We’re proud to announce that The North Face is now the official sponsor of the Paradox Sports Competitive Climbing Team.

This partnership strengthens our shared commitment to supporting adaptive athletes at the highest levels. With The North Face’s support, our team of six elite climbers is traveling the globe to compete in Salt Lake City, Innsbruck, Seoul, and Laval — representing what’s possible when athletes are given the resources to thrive.

Together, we’re building a future where adaptive climbers are seen, supported, and celebrated in every arena.

P.S. Interested in climbing with The North Face? Attend their Climbing Festival in San Francisco on September 5–6, featuring a paraclimbing category and big prize money. We’re heading to Staunton State Park for an Adaptive Climbing Initiative (ACI) Course on August 16 – August 17!

This course is for climbing instructors, guides, and facilitators who want to make climbing more inclusive for everyone—especially Veterans with disabilities.

We’ll dive into topics like disability etiquette, adaptive systems, and how to create a welcoming space for all climbers.

Thanks to support from Move United and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, we’re excited to bring this training to those working directly with the Veteran community.
