Meet Elizabeth
Favorite Pose: Half Moon! I love the balance challenge and the opportunity to take up space with my body. There is something very liberating about the expansive energy of half moon. It feels like a power pose on one leg 😛

Favorite Thing About Teaching: My favorite thing about teaching is the opportunity to inspire and invite students to move beyond the physical piece of the practice and get curious about the emotional and mental aspects — to use the physical practice as a trailhead into the deeper layers. I love seeing people unlock this new perspective and experience the broader expansion of awareness in their practice and lives.

Meet Lisa
Favorite Pose (pictured): Lately, half way lift (ardha uttanāsana); there’s so much complexity in its simplicity. I love the rootedness that supports expansion and finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, often ‘glossed over’ āsanas.

Favorite Thing About Teaching: One of the things I cherish about teaching is getting to witness the ‘ah-ha’s’ students have: physically, emotionally, spiritually. It’s luminous!

Meet Amy
Favorite Pose: If it’s the pose that always pushes my edge? It’s standing splits or revolved half moon. If we mean favorite as the pose that always feels good, it’s cow face. The name is not my favorite, but the combination of compression and expansion in my hips is always a doorway to a softer experience of myself.

Favorite Thing About Teaching: There’s this thing that happens when I’m teaching, where I have no choice but to be completely present. It’s almost like I become the room, and I can feel everything. Something bigger than Amy takes over my voice and weaves an experience, a flow, and an energy. It’s truly an honor to be trusted to hold people while they move, deepen and transform.
