When is it safe to get a facial?
Facials are a fantastic way to refresh your skin, relax your mind, and invest in your overall wellness. But as with any skincare treatment, timing matters. To ensure that you receive the most benefits from your facial (and avoid any unwanted side effects), it’s important to know when it’s safe to book your appointment.
QUICK HITS:
WAIT:
If you’ve recently used Retinols, Tretinoin, Accuntane, injectables, fillers, or had active cold sores, infections, or open wounds, let’s wait. Wait until your skin is fully healed before booking a facial.
Pregnancy & nursing: what’s safe?
We offers facials that are considered safe during pregnancy and nursing. However, some enhancements may not be suitable:
Safe: Standard facials tailored to your skin type
Avoid: Enhancements like Nano infusion or Python Peel during pregnancy or while nursing
Always let your esthetician know if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding so we can customize your facial accordingly.
Best practices when booking your facial:
Arrive with clean skin, share any recent changes in your skincare routine, communicate your skin goals and sensitivities honestly
Facials are a partnership between you and your esthetician to help your skin thrive. By timing your appointment wisely and being transparent about your health and skincare history, you’ll set yourself up for the best results possible.
When you’re ready to book, your first facial is $35 with code VIRGIN
