In long-standing parental alienation, the issue is rarely that a child becomes “evil.”

More often, a learned loyalty structure can override empathy toward the rejected parent.

Understanding this helps parents hold compassion without surrendering truth.

Clarity first. Healing follows...

Pay attention to your inner life, moment by moment.
The small alignments you make each day quietly shape the whole journey.

Healing is not sudden.
It is steady, attentive living.

Come sit with me and unveil the light within you.

My grandmother Mignon would be celebrating her 33rd birthday in two years if my math is correct. Of course we weren't sure of the year she was born because she refused to tell anyone. But we all knew her special day came every four years 2/29.

She was the inspiration for my getting my doctorate. Her presence will always be with me. RIP Mignon ~ Happy Birthday

Our Story

facebook.com/preventabusiverelationships is owned and managed by Partners in Prevention, a charitable organization committed to Domestic Abuse Intervention and Healing.

Partners in Prevention is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization committed to helping bridge healthcare delivery and domestic abuse victim advocacy. We are devoted to insuring that healthcare intervention and treatment for domestic violence survivors supports these patients in regaining their safety, health and well-being.

Our primary intervention program is the Intimate Partner Abuse Treatment Program which is a finely tuned domestic violence treatment protocol integrating a psychoeducational intervention promoting change for batterers, and a psychotherapeutic intervention facilitating healing for domestic abuse survivors.

We provide these services coast-to-coast remotely, and find both the delivery method and protocol to be quite effective in helping people create mutually respectful nonviolent communication in their relationships.
