😍 Wow! What an incredible day with this crew. 😍
We celebrated your first week on Planet Earth by taking a beautiful walk with Nana Jana along Pacific Grove’s iconic scenic path while the nicest ladies did our laundry. 🧺
Girl! That was the best $6 I have ever spent to have Miss Teresa and Miss Maura flip our laundry so we could go out & enjoy the surprisingly gorgeous day in the midst of these crazy Californian storms. Talk about the calm in the storm. 🌊
We soaked up the sunshine! ☀️ Don’t be fooled friends, my attire, or lack thereof, it’s due to these postpartum hormones / it was sunny and in the 50s but to me it felt like 75 😂
We saw sooo much of Earth today!! We saw the 🦋 monarch’s migrating through, 🦭 we saw a surfin seal, we saw a huuuuuge sea otter 🦦 chillin on his back. We saw so many cool seabirds that Nana Jana knows the name of but mommy forgets.🦌 We saw a mama doe and her two fawn and way more squirrels than when we walk with your brother, Orion. 🐿️
🌺 We saw soooo many gorgeous flowers in bloom because of all the rain we’ve been getting lately - it felt like everything was in bloom and perfect harmony, celebrating the week of your birth and the loss of your stump as you fully transition from womb to world. 🌎
We want to thank a few of our village today. 🙏 we are so grateful for everyone in our life - Lord knows it gonna take a village to raise this little girl and our village near and far love you sooooo much!
Thank you to EVERYONE who bought this kid a cloth diaper - there’s a ton of you - it’s a great feeling walking past the big box of diapers at Costco knowing we’ll never have to buy it. Diaper laundry is honestly so easy m and we’re close to zero waste between, gorgeous hand me down clothes, exclusively breastfeeding and cloth diapers. You’re a cool little eco baby and nature thanks you.
And thank you kiddo for being the chillest, sweetest little babe, along for the ride while I enter into being your mama. Your spirit has made this transition so natural for me. I’m so happy you’re here and this is just the beginning of the places we’ll go. 🧳 👣 🏕️
