Most people are told they have “sciatica.”
But sciatica is not actually a diagnosis.

Sciatica simply describes pain that travels down the leg — often with numbness, tingling, or burning.

The problem?
That symptom can come from several different underlying causes, including disc injuries, nerve irritation, joint dysfunction, or muscular compression.
