Kate Thompson Therapy: Existential & Journal Therapy I'm an existential counsellor and journal therapist. I'd love to help you tell your story and live the life you want. Together we can explore who you are.

I'm British and I trained and worked in England until 2010. I now live in Boulder Colorado. I am an existential counsellor which means I am interested in helping you to live as fully as you can. Together we can explore the blocks to existence and discover the ways in which you can live authentically. I have over 20 years experience as a therapist and I bring that with me as I meet each new client.

I will help you describe, clarify and unravel your relationship to the world, your self and others. We do not have to start with your childhood. I have worked with many different issues including sexual & domestic abuse, depression, identity, relationships and transitions. These are things which happen to many people at different times and you do not have to try and bear them alone. Sometimes speaking your story with a benign witness can be enough. Do you want to tell your story? Let me listen. Sometimes writing can be a way of helping you find your voice. I am a trained journal therapist and provide structure, pacing and containment that will lead you to find ways of healing and greater understanding. I practice face-to-face and online.
