Exciting Staff Updates at Choice:
Dear colleagues, partners, and friends,
I hope this message finds you grounded in the work we all do. At Choice House, we believe in growth that honors both the individual and the collective, and today I’m excited to share growth that reflects our beliefs.
After years of effective and impactful service as our Chief Marketing Officer, Josh Miller will be stepping out of the CMO role and into a dedicated Business Development position as Vice President of Clinical Outreach – West Coast. He will continue to represent Choice House with the same heart, integrity, and sophistication he’s always brought to our mission. This shift creates important space for Josh to expand his reach and personal goals, and to collaborate with a select group of other respected and values‑aligned providers in the field. We see this as a powerful next step for Josh — an opportunity for him to continue walking his own path of growth and purpose while still having a home at Choice House and serving as the trusted bridge he’s always been. We are grateful for his leadership and excited for his new chapter.
Separately, I’m honored to share that Phil Nutt will be stepping into the role of Director of Marketing and Admissions. Phil has long been a steady presence for Choice House families and the professionals we work with. In this expanded role, he will continue overseeing admissions while dedicating more time to our many partners — those who entrust us with men and families seeking to create new, aligned, sustainable systems of living.
We’re also excited to announce that Davis Funk will step into the role of Admissions Manager. Davis has been wholeheartedly committed to this work and to serving families in need from the day he joined the Choice House team. We’re happy to see him continue to grow in his career and his impact with our families and the men in treatment.
We are also in the process of hiring another full‑time admissions team member, and we look forward to announcing this soon.
As for the esteemed Scott Apgar, we are very grateful to have him representing us so well on the East Coast!
