Say hello to Marian, the newest member of the Boulder Athletics coaching crew! 💪

Born and raised right here in Colorado, Marian grew up as a competitive dancer, which ignited her lifelong passion for movement, training, and all things fitness.

Marian is ready to bring the energy and excited to coach, connect, and grow alongside the BA community. She’ll be teaching Friday’s at noon and taking on private training clients!

Hot days = higher stakes. Hydration isn’t optional — it’s your fuel. 💧

When the temps rise, so does your risk of:
– Cramping
– Headaches
– Fatigue
– Slower recovery

And water alone isn’t enough. When you sweat, you lose electrolytes and without replacing them, performance (and how you feel) takes a hit.

Here’s how to stay ready, not wrecked:

💧 Drink consistently throughout the day, not just before/after your workout
⚡️ Add electrolytes (like LMNT or even sea salt + lemon) especially if you’re training or outside
📏 General guideline: Aim for half your bodyweight in ounces of water daily
➕ Add 500–1000mg of sodium (and some potassium/magnesium) around intense workouts or super sweaty days

Hydration = performance.
Hydration = recovery.
Hydration = consistency.

Take care of your body so it can keep showing up for you, even when it’s 95° outside! Happy summer, fam 😎
