We have given out dozens of free sessions and are now accepting donations and sponsors to those of you who wish to support your friends, family and community members who have either lost homes or have been helping others through this crisis. I personally lost my home as well so I am very well connected in these groups, and can distribute any gift cards to those directly affected. Hello All!

Like many companies, we have experienced staffing shortages recently. We understand that scheduling last-minute and at your preferred time has been difficult at times this past year, and we are deeply grateful for your patience and understanding as we continue to recover and rebuild from all the myriad pandemic challenges.

Many of you have adapted and are pre-booking in advance, which is always a great strategy and we continue to recommend that. However, we have increased our staffing significantly so you will find a lot more availability on weekends and evenings now, and hopefully more same-day openings for those times when you wake up feeling like you need a massage!

We are just as committed to an exceptional, supportive, safe experience for our clients as we are for our staff. We are proud that we are able to attract experienced, talented therapists based on these efforts. And we are proud that the morale of our team is high, largely thanks to the wonderful clients that we get to serve every day.

We will continue to work diligently to bring on more talent, and we are excited to share that over the past two months we have brought on 6 additional therapists to our team with a collective 98 years of experience. Yes, you read that right! And of course we still have many of the same great therapists that have been here for years.

We are open! Thank you to all of our amazing clients and staff for being so supportive and loyal during our temporary closure.

Our top priority has always been to deliver an exceptional experience to our clients, and that hasn't changed. We have worked hard to ensure that we can meet your needs in a safe manner that is in accordance with government guidelines. Things are a little different, but we have implemented numerous new protocols to keep our staff, clients and community safe.

Here is what you can expect during your next visit:

• Everyone must wear a mask or face covering into our center. We will not be able to assist you if you are not wearing a face covering. The face covering will need to remain on throughout your session. We will do our best to adjust the face cradle and your position so you are comfortable. This is mandated by the state and our regulatory agencies. Our staff is required to wear a mask at all times.

• Both clients and staff are screened for wellness upon arrival. Everyone is required to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands immediately upon entering the center.

• We reserve the right to ask you to reschedule to a later date if we are concerned about your exposure to Covid-19. This includes our staff, and it is to protect our community.

• Only 10 people are allowed in the building at a time to adhere to social distancing protocol. This will reduce our total capacity by 50%, allowing for significantly less traffic in and out of our center.

• We will not be allowing walk-in appointments until further notice.

• We diligently sanitize surfaces and equipment according to CDC guidelines. The entire treatment room is disinfected between each session including table, bolster, face cradle, door handles, drawer handles, cabinets, stools, lotion bottle, and light switch.

We sincerely miss you all and hope everyone is staying safe. We are incredibly grateful for all the support you have given us during this time. With the County of Boulder's stay-at-home order in effect until May 8th, we will plan to reopen on May 9th. It is possible this date could change as we are still awaiting further guidance from our regulatory agencies, and we will update you with any changes.

We will have many new strict safety protocols in place for both clients and staff. These will be posted on our website and confirmation e-mails in the coming days once all the guidelines are made clear and can be implemented. The safety of our clients, staff and community are of the utmost importance to us. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we cautiously move forward in this uncharted territory.

We look forward to seeing you again and comparing stories during this period of social distancing and isolation. We are certainly reflecting on what it means to serve this great community as well as be supported by it. Your continued patronage and support is greatly appreciated.

Sciatic pain, or sciatica, describes leg pain, numbness, or abnormal sensation in buttocks and pain down part, or the entire back of the leg. Sciatica can also cause weakness or lack of motor control in the leg.
