Chef Monica brings creativity, care, and passion to every meal she prepares at MorningStar. She especially enjoys the opportunity to create unique gluten-free soups for our residents, appreciating the freedom to be inventive while still meeting specific dietary needs in a way that is both flavorful and enjoyable. For Monica, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing how appreciative the residents are—not just of her, but of the entire dining team. Their positive feedback continues to inspire her to provide a meaningful and enjoyable dining experience each day. She thoughtfully incorporates healthy, seasonal ingredients across a variety of menu items, from soups and entrées to snacks and desserts, while also taking the time to listen to residents’ ideas and preferences.
