Today is the 3rd anniversary of Perry's passing. I am learning so very much about grief and how the brain tries to metabolize it. In Perry's memory I offer one of his poems about Trees. I am living in a place now surrounded by trees which Perry and I always had a strong infinity for. (you can find all his poems on my website.)
TREES
Dancing as the breezes flow.
Solidly rooted in their place, marking time.
Observing all that transpires without judgement.
A sanctuary. Seemingly silent yet speaking in a language all their own.
Providing comfort, shelter, signs of beauty. Mindful and present. Playing their part in the story without wanting anything in return.
But giving back so much.

Hi all, This is Cindy once again with an update. I hope most of you received an email from Paul about access to Perry's poems and an update on my life. I find it so helpful hearing from all of you who have let me know what Dr. Perry meant to you and your families.

During his illness he began writing poems and had wanted to put them into a book. That did not happen, however I have now compiled most of them and you can view them on my website

Please consider his words of deep wisdom a gift for you from him.
I now think it is a strong possibility that he contracted these 2 rare illness's as a result of volunteering shortly after 9-11. He went in to ground zero to adjust and care for the first responders. This is who he was, always willing to help if he could.

Dear all,
This is Cindy, Perry's wife with a last announcement. I want to thank all that sent cards, messages and more during Perry's illness and passing. It was a shock for us all as we always joked that he was the healthiest most vibrant person we knew. Life often gives you the very unexpected.

He loved being a chiropractor and would want you to continue to be in excellent hands going forward. Therefore I want to introduce you to Dr. Paul Goldstein who was Perry's personal chiropractor that we absolutely trusted with his care. You can find his FB page at

It is with deep sadness that I am sharing with you the news that my love of over 46 years has passed away. Next month would have been our 41st wedding anniversary. He "walked his talk" by eating healthy, exercising regularly, meditating, and enjoying time with family and friends. His chiropractic practice was his passion as well as taking care of the earth. Perry had a big impact on everyone that came into his life and will be leaving a deep and lasting memory with those that were lucky to have been part of his life. He was a loving and amazing husband, father, friend, doctor, and pretty decent tennis player. Perry made sure that he made time in his life for his family, even while running a successful and busy chiropractic practice. There were lots of fun filled family vacations that will live on in the memories of Ben and Cindy, as well as the other families that were included on joint ski vacations and annual trips to Omega for Family Week.

Everybody who has known Perry throughout his life has their own special memories of him and we hope that you hold these close and cherish them as they are special and unique to you. If you would like to share these memories with your donation, please feel free to do so.

This illness is rarely caught early as most physicians don't look for it. It took Perry over 2 years to finally get an accurate diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis, both rare diseases. He has left this world too soon leaving behind so many who loved him.

We choose this organization to donate to in hopes of better diagnosis and treatment for others who are diagnosed with this disease in the future. We hope that increased research into this rare illness will provide others with more time in this world and better understanding of the symptoms, treatments, and causes.

We will all miss Perry very much and the world won't be the same without him.
