Many charitable organizations are inefficient and utilize donations very poorly. Because of this, we give money directly to those in need. When you become one of our customers, you will get periodic updates on the projects that we are involved in. We even allow you to participate with us, if you are interested.

🌿 How do I find community? 🌿 This is a question I get asked often. One of the quickest ways to make friends and feel truly connected is to find the plant people.

They are everywhere, every town, every city, all around the world. Communities are like gardens, They thrive with diversity, care, and cooperation. You are always welcome in my garden and you can plant your own, too!

✨ Find a local herbalist. ✨ Visit a nursery, plant shop or community garden. ✨ Start a book club. ✨ Host a potluck in your neighborhood park. ✨ (With permission) transform an empty lot into a shared green space.

Plant people are some of the most heart centered people. It’s just a matter of finding them. I am endlessly grateful for the beautiful souls I get to create with in my shop co-op. The plants have connected me to so many friends near and far, and for that, I will forever be thankful.

Our Little Warrior🌼 has been flying off the shelves ever since school started a few weeks ago. Not only is it great for supporting the immune system, it can be great for helping ease discomfort when you or the little ones are under the weather.

🌿Over the weekend my daughter was feeling a bit emotional and stressed. She felt like she really needed something to help her feel better.

On Friday night, I grabbed my Holy Basil tincture and offered it to her. She reluctantly took it, thinking it would be too weak to make a difference. But within minutes, there was a noticeable shift in her attitude and energy. She became much calmer and ended up going to bed peacefully.

Then, on Saturday night, she started feeling agitated, stressed, and jumpy. I made everyone some of my favorite Holy Basil tea from my friend’s farm, . Once she began drinking it, she relaxed almost immediately. She even started talking about how much joy nature brings her, and her whole demeanor softened.

🌿 I have no words to describe how wonderful this last week was. Teaching at the Good Medicine Confluence was such an honor. I was able to meet the most amazing herbalists from around the country.

I am so grateful to my plant sister for being the best road trip/bunk buddy! I will miss staying up all night, tea time, treat time, and all the amazing conversations.

I was so grateful to meet up with my dear friends and from my Greek herbalist retreat last summer. So grateful to spend the week learning with you and making new memories with you!

I am incredibly grateful to team for putting together such a well organized, heart centered, inspiring event. Please invite me back next year! I absolutely loved being a part of this incredible event.

I am thrilled to have so many new creative, talented, inspiring, plant loving friends. I adore you all and the amazing work you are doing in this world! Can’t wait to see you again!

Good morning from Ghost Ranch, New Mexico! Yesterday I had the pleasure of teaching my fellow herbalist friends about expanding their heart centered businesses.

Today, I am going to be teaching about connecting with and learning from plant spirits.

It is such a joy to be among so many heart centered, plant loving humans! I am so excited about all the things I’m learning and the amazing people I am meeting. So grateful for the plants bringing us all together! 🌿

🌼✨ St. John’s Wort ✨🌼

Right around the solstice and just before St. John’s Day on June 24th, the golden flowers of St. John’s Wort begin to bloom, bright, sun-kissed, and humming with energy.

In folk tradition, this herb was gathered at dawn on St. John’s Day, when it was believed to hold the height of solar power. People would hang it above their doors for protection, place it under pillows to invite healing dreams, or carry it to guard against heaviness and fear. Some called it “chase-devil,” believing it could lift even the darkest moods.

Modern herbalism still honors this. St. John’s Wort is known for its ability to ease mild to moderate depression, support the nervous system, and help restore a sense of lightness when things feel heavy. It’s also used topically as an oil for nerve pain, bruises, burns, and muscle soreness. It may help to soothe not only the emotional body but the physical one too.

🌱 I didn’t get great pictures but I had the opportunity to participate in the Weber county school district Plant career expo. They invited a bunch of different professionals to talk to high school students about careers that involve working with plants. It was so much fun and so inspiring to see the interest that some of the kids had. I told them they were lucky because I had no idea about any of this when I was in high school. I was grateful to be able to share about what I do and tell them it’s the best career out there. I’m so happy to see kids having these opportunities at school. Hopefully we get lots of young herbalists entering the field! 🌱

🌳What if we were more like plants?🌳

This has been on my mind a lot lately. It seems like human society is built on hierarchies. Some people are above and some are below. People who struggle or who don’t fit in the norms are often times ignored. Nature doesn’t work that way. In a forest, plants don’t abandon the weakest. They send help and nutrients through their roots, they support each other, and thrive together rather than compete for dominance.

No one is above or below in a forest. It’s more like a web or circle of support. What if we lived like that? Rather than trying to gain power over each other we lifted each other up?

Looking to the trees for the answers is underrated. They should be the ones in charge. 😂💖🌳
