This week, we had the chance to visit the Days of ’47 Parade Preview in Salt Lake City. We loved getting a sneak peek at the creative, colorful floats before they rolled through the streets of Salt Lake for the Days of '47 Parade!

✈️ We had a fun and fascinating visit from Steve, who gave a lively presentation about the life of Amelia Earhart! We're so grateful to him for sharing his time and knowledge with us.

Did you know some researchers believe Amelia may have survived her final flight and lived for a time as a castaway on a remote Pacific island? Artifacts like a woman’s shoe and navigational tools have fueled this enduring mystery. 🤔 Do you think she survived her final flight?

At Legacy House of Bountiful, we believe there’s always something new to learn, especially from each other.

As part of our Legacy Learning series, our resident John taught a class on the Mormon Battalion in honor of the upcoming Pioneer Day holiday. John's passion for early American history, which he has shared over the years with his late wife Rhonda, continues to inspire and educate us all.

Our residents come from rich and varied backgrounds, and it's both entertaining and enlightening to learn from the knowledge they so generously share.

Thank you, John, for reminding us that learning never stops, no matter our age.

Danny has been part of the LHB family for five years, serving as a CNA with compassion, professionalism, and heart. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and valued.

His responsiveness, attentiveness, and positive attitude make him not only a wonderful caregiver but also an incredible teammate. We’re thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team and look forward to seeing the continued impact he’ll make in this new role.

Even though it was Cassie’s day off, she brought a birthday lunch for the two of them to enjoy together in Rosemarie's apartment.

Our residents love a good game of Pool Noodle Hockey, one of our many regular indoor activities that keep us moving and connected. These games aren’t just for fun (though we have plenty of that!); they help build friendships, boost wellness, and create a strong sense of community.

One of the simple things we love at Legacy House of Bountiful is seeing how our residents decorate the ledges outside their front doors. We call them “Legacy Ledges.”

It’s a small space, but it says a lot. This month, those little ledges have been filled with red, white, and blue, and it’s been a fun way to celebrate the season.

We hope your Independence Day was meaningful, and we’re grateful to live in a place where community and creativity thrive, and where freedom is never taken for granted. 🇺🇸
