In our physical body, yin yoga reaches our deepest layers: the connective tissues; fascia, ligaments, joints, cartilage, and bones. All tissues need exercise/stress to regain and maintain health. Safely, seeking to not go past your edge but rather seek where the resistance arises, offering to the moment you feel a tug, and to land in neutral with your breath while staying gentle in your tissues. still with curiosity and the beginning of a gentle tug.
Yin yoga is so beneficial as a whole; physical, emotional and psychological. Our body may have resistance that relates to more than just a physical reason and we can store our life experiences within our body.
Class is non-heated.
