The Whole Life Challenge encourages you to start where you are. Make an improvement or two (or three or four) that are new. They might take a little energy (everything new does), but not so much that you have to rearrange your life around them.

Everyone who takes the Whole Life Challenge with this approach makes lasting changes and learns something new about themselves.

Some lose weight they’ve been trying to lose for a decade.

Some never drink soda again.

Some break a years-long habit of going to bed at 2:00 in the morning.

Some learn that slowing down and focusing on their well-being instead of dieting is the key they’ve been missing.

Some discover they actually like exercise; they just have never found their thing before.

Some connect with their family in a way that they never thought was possible.

Your health and well-being is about so much more than your weight. What you eat and how you move is only the beginning and only a small part of the picture.

Food, movement, sleep, peace of mind, awareness, and reflection are all ingredients in a formula that moves you forward like the current of a river. If you immerse yourself in it you often don’t even need to try to move. The current of the small changes just carries you onward.

The Fall Whole Life Challenge brings you this opportunity to continue on your journey. Try not to think of it as a mere 6-weeks. That would be a mistake. It’s a 6-week period of support and structure in an ongoing journey of transformation and discovery.

Me and 74 others are doing March into Spring. We're committed to walking every day for the month of March for either a minimum of 10 minutes OR a minimum of 1 mile.
Some days have been a breeze, especially when the sun is out and the sky is blue.
Other days? Let's just say they've tested us, but we've kept to our commitment to ourselves and are feeling the amazing benefits of walking outside daily.
This is a reminder to all that walking IS exercise, and it does "count." Get out there and walk!

This is a more-the-merrier program that encourages participants to get their bodies moving outside every day for the month of March. So far, 39 people have registered and are ready to March into Spring with lots of encouragement and support.

Play a little Tic Tak Toe! How many three-in-a-rows can you get? Is there one aspect of heart health you could benefit from zeroing in on?

From top to bottom, left to right:

Keep blood pressure on target.
Eat healthfully and limit processed foods.
Exercise 4-6 times a week.
Maintain a healthy weight.
Don't smoke or v**e.
Maintain healthy relationships.
Prioritize sleep.
Manage stress.
Keep healthy cholesterol levels.
