A DOT physical is a medical exam required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for commercial drivers.

It ensures you’re healthy and safe to operate a commercial vehicle. During the exam, a certified medical examiner checks:

• Vision and hearing
• Blood pressure and heart health
• Medical history and medications
• Urinalysis (basic health screening)
