Golden Age is a comprehensive medical adult day care program for seniors and adult disabled persons. These programs reduce isolation and loneliness, promote and improve both cognitive and physical functioning together with providing the cultural and socialization needs of the participant. Who Will Benefit
- Participants with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, recovering from strokes, heart attacks or

other debilitating problems
- Participants living with a caretaker unable to provide full-time care
- Participants that are home-bound, needing a secure place with stimulating activities
- Participants needing personal care: eating, toileting, bathing, dressing, etc. Services Provided
- Respite fore caregivers
- Individually designed plan of care developed to meet the medical, cognitive, physical and social needs of each participant
- Medical/Nursing staff - Staff evaluates reactions to medications and activities, administers medications, checks blood pressure and weight
- Assistance with all activities of daily living, such as feeding, toileting, and dressing
- Contracted services consisting of: physical, occupational and speech therapy, podiatrist and dentist

Affordability
Golden Age is about one half the cost of in-home care and one third the cost of nursing home care. Payment can be made through: private funds, long term care insurance or pre-approved medicaid.
