Ms. Ethel celebrated another milestone, 101 years old. She is a Queen. She comes down for breakfast and asks for her two fried eggs, a strip of bacon, and toast with butter & jelly every morning. Oh, we can't forget the hot tea with lemon to wash it down with.

Ethel keeps herself busy by reading, participating in music programs, attending worship services, and playing games such as Bingo, dominoes, and pokeno. She is an amazing woman who is loved by all.

Pastor Saunders comes to the community every Sunday at 1:30 pm to lead the worship service and sing for the residents. She also provides communion on the 1st Sunday for those who would love to partake of the Lord's Supper.

She has been coming to this community for 5 or more years. The residents feel blessed and fulfilled after the service.

We took a trip to Fat Boys Crab House & Shack to fellowship and enjoy a nice meal. Ms. Geraldine was enjoying every bit of her meal. We had conversations about the days when they would go out to dinner with family and friends maybe once or twice a week, the happy hour socials after work, and so forth. It was a great afternoon. They look forward to going out to another restaurant.

Our dining manager, Cosha, serves fresh omelets for the residents every Wednesday. Residents get to choose what they like in their eggs. Dining also serves hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, meats, and danishes.

That's a full meal!

After that meal, some residents joined the fitness class to work off that breakfast.
