๐ Spotlight! ๐
Weโre proud to share that Paige Treptow recently attended the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) in Washington, D.C. โ one of the premier leadership events offered by FFA! ๐บ๐ธ๐๐
While there, she had the opportunity to grow as a leader, build lasting friendships, and develop the skills needed to make a difference in our community and beyond.
Paige did an incredible job representing our FFA chapter, and we couldnโt be prouder of the way she stepped up as a leader!
โIn Washington, D.C., I rode the Metro across the city and roomed with complete strangers who quickly became lifelong friends. I met people from all over the country, each with their own story and passion for agriculture. While in the city, I visited several famous landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial, and the United States Capitol. I also had the chance to explore the Smithsonian Museum, which was full of interesting exhibits and history. One of the highlights of the week was completing a community service project, where we made oatmeal bags to support local shelters and help those in need.
I also traveled to Mount Vernon, Virginia, where I toured George Washingtonโs estate and learned more about his life and leadership. Another visit was the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where it honors the brave passengers who gave their lives to stop a terrorist attack on 9/11.
Although the weather was hot, every moment was worth it. This trip gave me the chance to grow as a leader, step out of my comfort zone, and build friendships that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to who all supported me for making this incredible opportunity possible. Your support helped create memories and lessons that I will carry with me forever.โ
