It’s that time! ✨
If you missed the blog post I shared a couple months ago, I’m closing my doors in Murray and preparing to relocate to Bowling Green, Kentucky after I get married at the end of this month. I don’t have an exact date for when I plan to reopen in a new location, but I can definitely say that it won’t be in 2023.
So if you’ve considered booking but kept putting it off, have yet to reschedule a previously canceled appointment, or have a gift card you still need to take advantage of, now’s the time to do so!

Clients often ask if I take insurance. I don't. Here's why. Firstly, it must be said that most insurance doesn't cover my work. Regardless of what I do in session, for insurance purposes, it's classified as massage therapy. Only 17% of carriers in the United States offer ANY coverage for massage therapy. Secondly, I have no interest in someone who has no idea what they're talking about trying to dictate FOR me what I can and cannot do to help people and what that's worth. Thirdly, if I were to take insurance (when I even could), I'd need to hire staff to take care of it. I work alone. In this country, the unfortunate truth is that the best care, the care you REALLY want, is easiest found by paying out of pocket.

When I went to add my new menu of services to my website, I also took a minute to update my “About Me” page and add a new one: a blog-style page for updates. This will be the central hub of Kaci B. Holistic Health once I close my doors in September 2023. Don’t worry… I’ll be back in late 2024/early 2025 in Bowling Green!

Due to circumstances out of my control at my full-time job, my work schedule will be flipped around for the week of April 24th-28th... which means I’ll be able to provide temporary evening hours!
If you’ve been waiting for me to expand my hours into the evenings so you can book an appointment that works with your own work schedule, this is your chance. I can’t guarantee if/when this will happen again in the near future! The available appointment times are listed below and I will not be able to offer anything later in the evening than what is listed.
I cannot guarantee that the temporary evening hours will continue the entire week as there is a small chance that I could go back to my normal working schedule mid-week. If this happens, no worries, we’ll get you rescheduled into the next available Saturday evening appointment!

I’m so excited to offer cupping therapy beginning April 10th, and am so grateful to my clients for their patience as I complete the coursework for this long-awaited service. Starting out, I’ll be offering two options: a basic service add-on and a 45 minute full treatment. When setting up my business plan during massage school, my first and strongest-held boundary was that I would not be accepting male clients. I knew that it put me at risk of not being able to grow my client base as quickly as I wanted to, but my passion has always been for women’s healthcare. Even when I was graduating high school, planning on going through years of higher education to become a physician assistant, my focus was on women’s healthcare. And now, in the complimentary and alternative healthcare space, that’s still at the heart of my work. So although my practice will evolve over time to also encompass clinical herbalism and traditional naturopathy, its mission will forever be the same:
Complimentary healthcare for women, by women, always.
And, of course, a note to the women in my life- I cannot thank you enough for raising me, teaching me, and empowering me to be able to be where I am in my life right now. Nothing that I’m doing right now would be possible without the support and love of all of the women who came before me and those who are walking the road of young womanhood with me.
