🏛️👻 The History Behind the Haunting 👻🏛️

The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum opened in the mid-1800s and was originally designed to house just a few hundred patients…

At its peak, it held over 2,000 people.

With overcrowding came harsh conditions, experimental treatments, and a lot of unrest. Many believe the emotional and physical intensity of what happened within those walls left a lasting imprint.

Visitors and investigators have reported:

🌫️ Shadow figures
🔮 Strong, shifting energy in certain wards

MONDAY
6PM - Tai Chi for Arthritis
This TaiChi Class is based on Sun style TaiChi, which is more gentle to the joints than other styles of TaiChi. These movements can be modified in many ways to accommodate physical limitations while still providing the benefits of TaiChi. Class ends with a grounding gong meditation.

TUESDAY
10AM - The Healing Hour
Led by Cynthia Kenny, is a creative collection of rejuvenating and restorative practices such as tapping and Qigong to get the energy moving. Pranayama breathing exercises and mindfulness meditation are also incorporated followed by gentle yoga poses.

6PM - Yoga of the Spirit
This unique restorative-style Yoga centers on mindful breathing, gentle movement, stretching, and energy healing.

WEDNESDAY
6PM - Awakened Yoga
This is an all-levels Yoga class led by Rachel McHale.

7:15PM - Qigong Energy Balancing
In this class, Paul Narus will guide you through meditative breathwork, slow movement, and some self-massage. All of this to help build up of either Yin or Yang energy to return to flow and thus return to balance.

THURSDAY
6PM -8PM Drop-In Healing
The healing space at Ordinary Pioneer will be open to the public to experience multiple healing modalities in one day!
Services Available: Oracle Tarot (Paul Narus), Reflexology (Mark Doblinger), Reiki (Ryan Battershell)
No appointment needed and each service will be offered first-come-first-serve. Simply sign up for each service when you arrive!
