This is one of the most exciting weekends since the studio opened and a reminder of how special and interconnected life is.
I attended a random BUTI Glow in 2019 early in my yoga journey, scared, by myself, and in the first yoga studio I had ever stepped foot in so much changed for me. was such a welcoming and loving teacher and I get to host her again for an event similar to the one that started it all. We will have some mocktails after class and vibe this Friday. Come at 6:45 to paint up, wear Blacklight reactive clothes and let’s move!
Saturday at 1pm one of our Core Element family is coming back to town to teach her first yoga class, this will be a community class, pay what you can!
We are also sending love and encouragement to as she travels to TN to train to become a BUTI instructor. Julie has been attending classes with me for years and has been a constant source of support in our community. A founding member of the studio, and one of the first instructors. I owe her such a debt of gratitude and love for her commitment to movement and we can’t wait to take your first class.

I am and have always been surrounded by so much love, support, and purpose. This weekend is a reminder of how our lives can weave together to be something bigger than we can ever imagine if you follow your heart, do scary things, reach out to new people, and trust the process (shew) sometimes we are luck enough to see the moments that they all overlap.

Happy International Day of Yoga from Craig, the Core Element team, and the extended family of students that have made this practice special. It has been a home when we need a place to land, a balm for our souls when we are hurting, and it connects us over time and space when we are apart. This practice is so much more than just a stretch or a workout to us; it is what grounds us in the storms, reminds us of our breath and to connect to our bodies, and liberates us when we feel stuck. It means so many different things to so many people but above all it is a reminder of how precious life is and that our awareness and presence cultivate a better life.

Thanks to our community for practicing with us, attending events, and supporting one another on this journey. Join a class or event soon to learn more about the joy that yoga has brought us.

More like “Pour Element” amirite? We had a great time with BG Art Class last Friday for our Pose n Paint event where we had a yoga class and then spent time painting pottery after, the conversations filled my bucket right back up. Off the mat Craig painted and facilitated a community mural and painting station for Duncan Hines Days at the Eats and Beats festival! We aren’t just about the yoga and movement, we love to gather and share with new friends and this community.

If you’re looking for memories this summer look no further then our drop in events, you do not have to be a member to come to them or our classes (but we would love to have you)

June continues with new classes, new teachers, and new events at exciting new places. Join this weekend for ecstatic dance at Starey Fields Farm, or Saturday morning at The Grove.

Thanks to our amazing community that showed out for Sunset Yoga! I appreciate for hosting, for bringing some much needed magic and intention and of course the for really showing off. I would be nothing without the mothers in my life and Core Element would not exist without the love of mothers in all the facets they come in.

From my mother, who has been a minister most of my life and centered service and spirituality; even encouraging manifestation techniques early in my life to my aunts, cousins, and grandmothers who have all shaped my love of art, music, mythology, history, and storytelling and made me the teacher that I am in many ways. The fellow teachers and leaders that are also mothers in my community have taught me, held me, and encouraged my growth but also lead and teach from the heart and lead their practices with unshakeable compassion and take time from their lives to teach and share to help people.

I also can’t thank and celebrate enough the students that navigate their practice while also navigating the joys and challenges of motherhood. They are a massive part of the and bring so much energy to classes and when I’m lucky they bring their kiddos!

We celebrate all the powerful people who mother in any capacity from birth mothers, foster parents, step parents and adoptive mother to those that have experienced loss or are in fertility journeys, the proud papas aunties, Grammies and Beyond. It doesn’t matter if you have fur babies or became the work mom the world needs motherly love and you have stepped up.

Thank you for your compassion, your practice, your patience, your projection of light and protection of life: we love you and happy Mother’s Day.

Three times the sweat & sweetness wrapped into a 75 minute package! It’s a vibe roulette with Emery, Tori, and Craig switching up songs, sides, and bringing TRIPLE the BUTI bliss. Wear shoes, sunscreen, and bring a big beach towel as we take class in the back lot, a sweet treat and hangout to follow!
