Additionally, Mackenzie is educated in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). EMDR and TF-CBT are two prominent, evidence-based practices utilized in the treatment of Chronic & Complex PTSD and dissociative disorders.

We are SO excited to announce that Carmon, Emma, and Mackenzie have joined the KTT practice! Carmon and Emma have openings available immediately, and Mackenzie has availability beginning September 1. These newest additions have also made the commitment to begin their journey as trauma-informed EMDR therapists this September.

Our staff can provide telehealth or face to face sessions in office at Bowling Green, Kentucky. We are in works for satellite offices soon in Russellville and Cave City, KY.

Carmon specializes in women's health issues, anxiety/GAD, substance use related concerns, maternal bonding, motherhood and parental concerns, mother wounds, generational trauma, & PTSD.

Emma specializes in anxiety/GAD, children/youth/teens, depression, early-college related experiences, SMI, life adjustments, and trauma.

Mackenzie specializes in anxiety/GAD, depression, child/youth/teens, co-dependency, relationship issues, generational trauma, and PTSD.

Carmon, Emma and Mackenzie can accept Medicaid insurance or cash pay options.

"I’m Mackenzie Kennedy, a dedicated therapy intern student with a passion for helping individuals overcome obstacles and discover their inner strengths. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Sciences from Western Kentucky University and currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University, I bring a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to my practice.

With six years of specialized experience in chemical dependency and four years dedicated to working with children aged 4 to 17, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the diverse challenges individuals face at different stages of their lives. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

My mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their emotions, confront challenges, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. KTT has openings for two clinicians that are licensed in the state of Kentucky. Licenses that will be considered include CSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, LPCAs, PsyDs.

KTT's main office is located in Bowling Green, KY. We provide trauma-based services to vulnerable populations across the Bluegrass state. Being a part of the KTT team includes receiving supervision weekly, having EMR (electronic medical records) provided, a TCM and CSA to assist with your client caseload, competitive pay, billing services provided, and the capacity to work from home.

Job requirements include the capacity to have a full-time caseload (minimum 20 hours per week) that can be hybrid (partially in person, partially telehealth), maintaining state licensure and insurance requirements, a working laptop to do telehealth appointments on, flexibility to attend training for trauma-informed care. Additionally, cultural competency is a requirement.

Preferred applicants would have history of working with vulnerable populations and populations experiencing/having history with Substance Use Disorders, domestic violence, veterans, IOP, group therapy, family violence, & generational trauma. If clinician is bilingual- please note this on resume.
