In this role, you will take primary responsibility for patient and family assessment, care planning, and ongoing evaluation of the nursing process. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, hospice staff, and community partners to coordinate care, manage symptoms, and support patients and caregivers physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our Story

In medieval times, “hospice” referred to a place of shelter and rest for travelers on a long journey.

Hospice of Southern Kentucky is a non-for-profit organization that was established in the spring of 1981 in Bowling Green, KY. For close to 40 years, our agency has served over 10,000 families in the 9 surrounding counties with clinical, spiritual, and financial assistance. We were the first hospice agency in Southern Kentucky and continue to be your local non-profit leader in hospice care.

On August 1, 2008, HSK, with the help of valuable community partners, opened the doors to a 10 private suite inpatient facility. The Hospice House overlooks a beautiful horse pasture and is furnished with 10 patient suites, a chapel, play room for the kids, family room with community kitchen, and a memorial garden outside
