Please send monetary donations/mail to Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry PO BOX 84 Bowling Green Ohio 43402. Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry opened its doors on January 4, 1984, under the sponsorship of the Bowling Green Ministerial Association. A task force of area church representatives and social agencies worked to establish the organization and its policies. The pantry received its incorporation as a non-profit organization March 21, 1984. The pantry is funded and supplied by donations (food supplies and cash donations) from area churches, organizations, retail establishments, and individuals. Food is purchased in bulk from wholesalers throughout the year. Non-food items such as soap, shampoo, diapers, toopaste/toothbrushes, and laundry soap are also accepted as donations, but can not be purchased with donated funds. Many local churches collect dry and canned goods the first Sunday of every month. The Boy Scouts, postal services, fraternities, sororities, the public library, schools, and other groups have also helped with food drives.
