TLDR:
New Years Resolutions fail if you don’t address the small habits that prevent new ones. If you’re trying to lose weight, get stronger, eat healthier, etc etc and you’re trying to make this New Year, New Me motivation the turning point for you, you need to know that motivation fades and when you’re at your most tired you will revert back to your old ways if you don’t prepare.

Set yourself up for success and work with a coach right away to streamline the process and build a good foundation.

When something is wrong, you must either change your environment or change how you respond to your environment.

Either one requires action. Failure to take action means you will lose yourself within the defense mechanisms against your environment.

Make 2026 the year that you take action. If nothing changes nothing changes.

Is this too aggressive? 🤔

Pain is rarely from a flexibility issue alone.
Almost always a weakness that results in the body displacing tension over time until the body can’t compensate anymore.

Lazy practitioners just look at the database of stretches and collect your insurance. $400 for crappy care seems pretty steep to me.

What’s more dangerous, learning to deadlift or letting your muscles atrophy, sitting 10 hours a day, letting your blood vessels fill with cholesterol, losing your identity, zeroing your stress tolerance, and becoming easier to kill?

When it comes to pain and dysfunction, the sedentary camp takes the cake. Disc herniations, carpal tunnel, poor sleep, poor body comp, joint problems, low back pain, catastrophic falls, chronic stress, and disease are more prevalent in people who refuse to train.

Get busy living or get busy dying.
