It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden passing of Nelson Abebrese, the beloved husband of our long-time team member and friend, Shirley Abebrese.

Shirley has been a vital part of our team in The Haven Memory Care for 8 years. To know Shirley is to love her, and we know many of you feel the same. We are rallying around her in love and support.

Our thoughts continue to be with her and her family during this incredibly difficult time. We ask that you keep them in your prayers.

Tonight we loaded up our sweet residents and took a little road trip!!! 🎅We enjoyed driving through the Night of Lights in Franklin, Ky! 🎄 Thank you🙌 so much to Lisa with the Parks & Rec dept. She helped us navigate the drive through in our big bus and also worked some Christmas magic🪄so Santa & Mrs. Clause could hang out with our sweet residents for a bit! 🎅🤶 We truly are blessed this season! Merry Christmas!! 🎄❤️🎅🎄❤️🎅🎄

We took a day to piddle around at Just Piddlin Farm !! The hayride was "Barbara approved"....thank you so much to Stacy, Shannon & Spencer from EmpowerMe Wellness for going with us! We came home with smiles, pumpkins and lots of stories to tell! Thank you Jenny Leigh Short for planning this awesome outing!! The staff at Just Piddlin farms is amazing, so helpful and accommodating!!

Today we had a cooking class with Evelyn! We made her famous chocolate pies! We all pitched in and are going to enjoy a slice for dinner!!!! 🥧 Always a fun time with this group of ladies!
