Keeping kids safe on the road starts with the right car seat and we’re proud to partner with the Bowling Green Fire Division and Wood Lane - Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities for a Car Seat Checkup Event on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟲.

Families can have car seats and booster seats checked by trained professionals, learn proper installation and usage and find out if it’s time for a change. 🚗

This week, Wood County Hospital is proud to celebrate National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week!

It’s a perfect opportunity to recognize the dedication and impact of our first responders, including paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, police officers and more. Those who work tirelessly to keep our community safe.

On Wednesday, WCH hosted an appreciation lunch, welcoming local EMS teams to enjoy a meal and participate in a raffle featuring a variety of gift baskets.

We cannot express our gratitude enough toward our first responders for all they do for our community! 🚑👏💙

Wood County Hospital was proud to once again serve as a presenting sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s 2026 Relay for Life of Southern Wood County, held May 15 at the Wood County Fairgrounds. 🎗️

Our Maurer Family Cancer Care Center team connected with attendees and shared information about our services, including the Cancer Care Nurse Navigator Program.

WCH President Stan Korducki also spoke, highlighting the impact of the American Cancer Society’s research and patient support programs in our community.

As of May 18, more than $𝟴𝟯,𝟰𝟳𝟲 has been raised by this event to support this important mission, and we’re honored to be part of it. 👏
