Wood County Hospital joined the fun at the 3rd Annual Safety Fair & Cruise-In at the Wood County Historical Museum on Saturday, August 9! 🚒🚗☀️

Our Wellness Services staff members, Kelley U. and Terry G., wellness screening techs, kept the kids moving with a 𝙁𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙡 game, which offered a fun way to combine exercise and safety awareness.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆, 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲:

Jody S., OB staff member and Certified Car Seat Technician, joined Sandy W. from Safe Communities of Wood County during Kids Day on July 30 at the 2025 Wood County Fair.

Jody answered questions and shared tips on infant and child car seat safety, including booster seats 🚗. She also handed out Car Seat ID Cards for parents to attach to car seats, helping emergency responders quickly access contact info in case of an accident.

Sandy provided additional resources on the Click It or Ticket campaign, motorcycle safety 🏍️, fire prevention and the importance of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. 🔥
