BRADD Citizen Corps The BRADD (Barren River Area Development District) Citizen Corps represents a ten county area in South Central Kentucky.

Their mission is to educate the public on how to prepare for disasters by providing training in in Disaster preparedness.

We know many want to help those affected by recent severe weather and flooding. For your safety, avoid traveling to affected areas until local officials say it's safe to do so.

If you want to donate, remember that unsolicited items can be difficult for local volunteers to sort and distribute.

If you are stranded in your home due to flooding, please call the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 270-842-1633. They will help arrange for someone to come get you and take you to a safe place.

Please provide the following when you call:
• Location
• Number of people needing to be removed
• Estimate of water level in feet
• Any known dangers such as: gas, electric, or sinkholes near your home

Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee: Do NOT return to evacuated areas until local officials say it is safe to do so. Flood waters can contaminate your home with mold or sewage, which can cause health risks.

When you're cleared to go back, photograph any property damage before cleaning up for your insurance company and your personal records.
