Just a reminder that the time is falling back an hour this coming week, starting their bed time routine at the correct time is essential! 😴

Post partum care ➡️ maintenance care

After you give birth, we work on putting structures back together, because let’s be real… things are just not the same after giving birth. 🙅🏼‍♀️😳

Most post partum women struggle with p***c bone, low back and leg pain after delivery… and taking care of a new born, no momma has time for that! 😭👩‍🍼

Once we stabilize the structures that are most affected after giving birth, than we work on the areas that need some love while transitioning into motherhood while feeling your best! 😍

Most mommas, like this one here struggle with neck and shoulder tension! Those long hours of breast feeding take a toll on our bodies, even though it’s so rewarding for our little one. 🍼

Nothing like a little momma and baby TLC to get you feeling your best! 💁‍♀️

But why is it best to come get adjusted each month and bring your baby in? 🤔

Like most mothers, we carry our tension in our upper back and shoulders due to the many hours of breast feeding and carrying for our little ones! 👶🏼🍼

But what about the baby?? 💭

Breech baby ⁉️…. No momma has time for that🙅🏼‍♀️

I started seeing this sweet momma-to-be when baby wasn’t in the right position. With active chiropractic care, at home exercises and a trip to the acupuncturist, we got baby to flip and into the perfect position for child birth! 🙌

Ok mommas, let’s talk about diastasis ⁉️

What is diastasis? 🤔

Diastasis is a common condition during pregnancy where the abdominal muscles separate, often around the belly button. 🤰

While some separation is normal as the belly grows, excessive separation can lead to discomfort, back pain, and a protruding abdomen. It can also persist after pregnancy! 👎🙅🏼‍♀️

So what do we do to prevent this? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Active chiropractic care prevents the separation of these muscles by getting structures where they need to be and keeping your ligaments loose and without tension. 💪🏻

But, if you’re already in a position where you have diastasis, using K tape to support your abdomen and the muscles supporting baby, can help elevate your pain! 😮‍💨
