“My why is my family values. I grew up in a family that gives to missions close to our hearts. We believe in quality of life and quality of death. It matters to help create a place that wraps care around a person in their final days and supports their family and friends. Giving is also how we remember those we love. Without them setting the tone, my family would not be what it is. So I hold up our values while I hold up Hosparus Health’s mission through my giving.”

Yesterday we broke ground on our new Hosparus Health Inpatient Hospice Care Center. 💛

This center will serve families across Kentucky and Southern Indiana with 21 private rooms, space for loved ones to stay close, peaceful gardens, and grief support next door. A place for comfort, dignity, and time together.

Tomorrow is Give For Good Louisville. Every gift goes toward building this place of comfort and care for families in our community.

💛 “The care they provided was nothing but pure love.”

When Donna Allen’s father, James Bennett, entered the Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center, she immediately recognized the same compassion her husband had received years before. From nurses who comforted her granddaughters, to volunteers and chaplains who sat with her family, every act of care made a lasting impact.

“They not only address medical needs but also provide emotional support,” Donna shared. “It made a lasting impact on us.”

Now, Donna is sharing her story to remind other families that hospice care is about comfort, dignity, and love.

Meet Trisha Chhabra, one of our incredible volunteers! ❤️

Trisha is a senior at the Gatton Academy at WKU and has been volunteering with Hosparus Health for about a year. She helps with community events, supports our admin office, writes thoughtful cards, and prepares care blanket packages for patients and families. Her kindness and dedication shine through in everything she does.
