Dr Harrison has retired and yesterday was our last day.

We would like to express our gratitude to all of our patients. We appreciate their kind words as a new chapter in our life unfolds.

We will have found memories of our employees most recently Tina Paul and Carol Speakman Miller

Shannon will continue to sell select skin and hair products.

Looking forward to flying, seeing grandkids more, and new adventures.

Dr Harrison will continue providing airman medical exams for the aviation community.

Our Story

Born and raised in Simpson County, Kentucky, Dr. Harrison graduated with his Bachelor of Science at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green in 1979. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Afterward, he completed a surgical internship and a general surgery residency at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to Sky Vein & Aesthetics, Dr. Harrison worked in private practice and military hospitals in Kentucky and North Carolina. He was appointed as the Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at TriStar Greenview Hospital in 2001 and 2003, respectively.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Harrison stays up to date with the latest advancements in his field as a member of the American Vein & Lymphatic Society and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia.

Outside of work, Dr. Harrison enjoys flying with his wife, Shannon, who is also a pilot. For him, the best part of having a small airplane is the joy of continually learning. He received his instrument rating in 2016 and his commercial license in 2019.
