Ms. Pugh life shapes resilience, creativity, and deep devotion to family. Born in Washington, D.c., she later moved with her family to Northern Virginia, carrying with her the legacy of a father who served in World War 1-a history she honors through reminiscing about earlier times and values that shaped her upbringing. Know for being authentically herself, she is warm, social presence who connects easily with others.
Her interests paint a portrait of a naturally gifted creator: crocheting gardening, painting, coloring, and hands-on on creativity in every form. Professionally, she dedicated part of her career to serving the U.S. Army, demonstrating commitment and discipline that mirror her personal values. All above, she is a proud mother of 4 children whom she absolutely adores, and her love for them remains one of the defining joys of her life.

It was a GREAT day here at Bowling Green on Friday. Pamela won this challenge in March. She was recognized on Friday with this beautiful plaque and catered lunch from Mission Barbecue. While doing the challenge, she wanted to thank four staff members who went above and beyond for me. Tony N (Maintenance Director), Juan B (Housekeeping Director), Tiffany F (Activities Asst), and Rosemary H (CNA). They received a $50 gift card. She also requested to feed the night shift. Every staff member on the day shift got lunch from the Admission Department today! We are TOP NOTCH!! 💚

Ms. Hentschel is someone who is naturally witty and loving. Her fun-loving spirit shows up in everything she does - especially when music 🎶 🎵 starts playing. If there is a chance to dance 💃🏼 she is already moving with joy and confidence.

She also has a deep appreciation for beauty. She takes pride in looking glamorous for events, getting her nails done is one of her favorite rituals, and she chooses shades that match her bold personality. Fresh flowers always catch her eye, and she lights up when she's surrounded by colorful blooms.

At her core, Ms. Hentschel simply loves love. She enjoys connection, warmth, and the feeling of being cared for, and she gives that same affection right back to the people around her. Her humor, sparkle, and big heart make her a cherished part of our community.

Moments in Bloom truly lived up to its name as we kicked off our final day of Nursing Home Week with a celebration full of warmth, color, and joy! The day was vibrant from start to finish, filled with laughter, music, and meaningful moments shared among staff, residents, families, and special guests. Delicious food brought everyone together, while our wonderful guest vendors added a unique and festive touch to the day. The ice cream truck was a huge hit, serving up sweet treats that brought smiles to the faces of all ages.
Residents enjoyed engaging games, lighthearted activities, and plenty of opportunities to relax, socialize, and soak in the cheerful atmosphere. Staff joined in the fun, strengthening the bonds that make our community feel like home. Laughter echoed throughout the day, photos were taken, memories were made, and there was a true sense of connection and appreciation in every moment.
It was a beautiful way to celebrate not only the close of Nursing Home Week, but also the spirit of togetherness, compassion, and joy that fills our community every day. Truly a day to remember—full of smiles, gratitude, and blooming happiness all around!”
