A little mobility strength training never hurt anybody!
I’ve been working more and more on flexibility and body weight strength training. It fits well into the running I’ve been doing. Don’t worry, the weights will still make their appearances. I’m just trying to find a bit of balance.
If you guys are looking for more body weight workouts you can do any anywhere, I highly suggest and My Broadway Body program. Both are awesome and will whip your butt into shape. And no, they aren’t paying me. I’m paying them. Lol!

Another workout, another less than stellar photo on my part. Lol!
I still posted this picture because, like the picture, I’m not perfect in my fitness. Some mornings I struggle to find the motivation to get up early and get a workout in.
But I find, once I just get up and get my workout clothes on, it makes it easier to grab the weights, get my yoga flow on or whatever I’m doing that day.
Your workout doesn’t need to be perfect; you just need to make sure you get it done. And you don’t need to be left completely exhausted and dripping with sweat to make improvements. As long as it’s not physically hurting you, you’re progressing.
Get up and keep moving. Have a great day, gang!

Pace is getting faster and more consistent. Good things!
Race is next week and I’m not too sure I’ve built up to the distance as well as I’d like. Not so good thing.

Fitness is not always easy. Some days it can be tough to get motivated, tough to get through the workout and can leave you exhausted.
But remember why you started your journey. To lose weight? Improve your self esteem? Have more energy? Whatever the reason, when you just done feel like it, remember your “why” and focus on that.

Still working on my flow. All fitness requires patience and practice to learn and improve.
We won’t always be perfect and may even fall, even after multiple times.

With the threat of rain tomorrow, I decided to take my Saturday run on a Friday evening.
It was a nice easy one that help me kind of work on my consistency with improving my pace as a run goes along.
Only two weeks until my first 15 K of 2021. I’m getting better and I plan to run the whole race. How was your Friday night?
