What a special day! I had the honor (and the job!) of being the Coca-Cola Polar Bear🐻‍❄️ at my granddaughter Bays’s 6th birthday party. Seeing her smile made every minute in that bear suit worth it, even though I can tell you, that suit gets HOT! 😅

It's hard to believe she's already 6 years old. They sure do grow up fast! I'm thankful for every moment and proud to be her grandpa.

Volunteers from Essity and Fruit of the Loom helped place more than 480 flags on the graves of veterans throughout Bowling Green Gardens as a tribute to those who served our country.

On Tuesday, May 5th, community members gathered in Circus Square Park for the unveiling and dedication of a new public art installation that now stands in the heart of downtown Bowling Green. The piece, donated by Johnny and Glenna Webb, serves as a meaningful reminder of the deep connection people share with the place they call home.

Kevin Kirby and his team at BG Monuments provided the 13,500-pound granite base for the sculpture and managed the installation process. The monument now stands as a lasting reflection of community pride, connection, and the people who continue to make Bowling Green special.

During his acceptance speech, Kevin shared, “Bowling Green to me is the shining star of Kentucky,” a reflection of the deep appreciation he has for the community he continues to serve. He also reminded those in attendance that, “If a community is good to you, then you should be good to the community.”
