It's extra important to check on your neighbors this time of year—especially if they are older. Give them a phone call or knock on their door to ensure they are staying warm, hydrated & prepared for winter storms. 🌨️

There’s something special about this time of year — the familiar dishes on the table, the voices we’ve known our whole lives, and the stories that get passed down from one generation to the next.

Holidays remind us how deeply sound shapes connection. The laughter, the memories, the traditions… they’re worth protecting.

At PHHA, we’re grateful not just for the past, but for the work happening today — the clinicians, specialists, practice owners, students, educators, and industry partners who advocate for better hearing care across Pennsylvania. Because when we protect access, best practices, and professional standards, we protect families, conversations, and legacies.

📢‼️📢 URGENT 📢‼️📢

PHHA received a call from the Department of Health earlier this afternoon. The PA state budget still has not passed and has caused a lot of spending to be suspended. The hotel the Fitter's exam has been at for the last several years would not allow them to be billed for future payment therefore the exam has to be moved to a new location.

THE NEW LOCATION FOR THIS WEEKS FITTER'S EXAM IS:

PA DEPT OF HEALTH
2525 N. 7TH ST.
HARRISBURG

Examinees will need to park on the side of the building DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. Enter through the front of the building and be cleared by security. Security will have a list of the names of all eligible people taking the exam.
