The below listed individuals have been selected as Security Officers for the Pow-Wow and Rodeo. We will be having a mandatory meeting at the Rocky Boy Police Department Wednesday, 07/30/2025 at 10:00 am. All listed individuals need to attend.

PLEASE BRING TWO (2) FORMS OF THE FOLLOWING IDENTIFICATIONS SUCH AS TRIBAL ID, DRIVER LICENSE, STATE ID, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, AND/OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

We are sad to report that on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2046 hours Law Enforcement received a call and responded to find Joseph Whitehorse suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash.

The family was notified immediately. Montana Highway Patrol and the HCSO Coroner were notified and an investigation was completed.

Our condolences to the Whitehorse family.

We would like to thank everyone who volunteered in search efforts.

During the week of May 19-26, 2025, Law Enforcement received multiple gun calls on a male, Derelle Fiddler. In each call the male was gone prior to Officers arrival and they were unable to locate him despite persistent efforts.

On May 27th, 2025, Fiddler was located and confirmed to be in a Box Elder residence. Officers received consent to search and locate the male inside the residence and he was taken into custody. The residence was secured by Rocky Boy Police Department who obtained and executed a search warrant at 115 Cottonwood Street in Box Elder. Items seized in the warrant consisted of 3 loaded handguns, nearly 1400 fentanyl pills, more than 14 grams of wax fentanyl, a scale and several items of paraphernalia.

Fiddler has been charged with and made his appearance on several drug and fi****ms offenses. His cash bond is set at $11,500.
