As we come into the Thanksgiving season, we reflect on the blessings received from God throughout the year. And it stirs in us the desire to share and reach out to others in need.
It is also an emotional time for those who don't have family or who have been shunned by family due to their addiction behavior. And their need for love can be overwhelming.
If you are looking for an opportunity to show love for others, please consider financially helping our men as they continue their journey of recovery and restoration. All donations are tax free and all of your donation goes directly to meeting the individual needs of our men.

The guys helped with parking today at the R T Arnold Public Library Holiday Bazaar. Enjoyed the people!
This Bazaar generates the funds necessary for the children's summer program at the library each year. So know that your support is helping to keep this program going each year!!

We can teach about the promises of God, that surrender leads to victory, that as a child of God, we are a new creation and that old things pass away and all things become new, and so forth...
But when you see and hear from a man who is living evidence to all that truth, its powerful and impactful!
Today Dave shared his life story and testimony of the power of God in his life. To hear from where he came, to hear about who he once was, to hear about how he lived, and to hear about the loss he endured, left you wondering how he could became the man that sat before us today. There was no denying the transformation. There was no denying the miracles. There was no denying the changed heart. And there was no denying God in all of it!
Talk about a great teaching time today! It was living and breathing truth sitting and speaking right in front of us all!
Today God blessed the ARK with another 'teacher', a living testimony of His glorious mercy, grace, and redemption! Words just can't do today's 'lesson' justice.......

The men finally got the plastic sheeting on today in spite of the occasional wind gusts. We will let it stretch in the sun a little and then tighten it down completely but for now it's up! Quite the change from where this project started!

As always, we so appreciate the folks at House of Prayer in Clarksville for their support and generosity. Special thank you to Pastor Luke for joining the Bible study at the house Tuesday. Love having men of God breath truth and love into these men!

Check out these two 'tunnel rats'!! Lol!
Awesome job Owen and Chase! Today they helped to get the plumbing, under a church repair we did earlier, all insulated and taped up. The other guys handled several other jobs at the site as well and also did a great job!
Amazing to watch these guys get it done!
What a great day to serve others!

Great night of sweet fellowship with the Life Recovery Group from Christ Family Outreach Church in Amelia. Yep that was a long way for them to come but it's not the first time and won't be the last
Friendships have been built through a common thread of recovery and it's God saving root. They can relate, encourage, understand, and be totally honest with each other because they all have been redeemed and rescued by a powerful and loving God who met them in their mess and loved and still valued them as He raised them to a new life.
The cookout and bonfire only provided a reason to meet. God then took over as testimonies of His love and redemption spoke through those who were there.

Another Praise in the Pasture!! Thank you Lee Williams of Spurn' Up Hope (www.spurnuphope.com) for the invite ( and to Crystal Padgett for the pictures that I failed to take!)
The men listened to the powerful testimonies of Billy Livingston and Trey and his wife, Tiffany Abernathy . These people shared how God rescued and restored their lives, again proving God is not limited in His ability to heal anyone who truly seeks Him - a message these men need to hear repeatedly....
It was also exciting to have alumni Jordan and Duane join us there!
And I was given the privilege to share about the ARK and tell folks about what God is doing in the hearts of the men.

Big thank you to Jeanine Parks and her daughter for the toiletries for the men. A bag full of razers/ shaving cream and a bag full of kits that contain body gel, washcloth, toothbrush and toothpaste.
Every man got a kit and razors and we had a couple left for who joins the house next.....
Thank you! Definitely a gift that will be used and appreciated....
