Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. We pause to remember those we’ve lost, stand with those who survive, and recommit to a future free from overdose.

• Globally, around 300,000 people die each year from drug overdoses.
• In the U.S., the crisis remains severe, though slightly improving: there were about 80,400 overdose deaths in 2024—down from a peak of ~112,600 in 2022.
• Opioids—especially synthetic ones like fentanyl—are the main driver, involved in roughly 73% of U.S. overdose deaths.

Let’s turn grief into action: share resources, support harm reduction and advocate for policy change. Overdose is preventable; together, we can end it. 🕯️💜

Recovery isn’t about rushing to the finish line—it’s about taking one step at a time, even on the hard days. Healing, growth and peace don’t happen overnight, but every small step forward counts. Be patient with yourself, you’re getting there. 💙

🌱✨ Recovery isn’t just about getting through the hard days — it’s about believing, deep down, that you already carry the strength to rise above them. 💪 No matter the struggle, there’s something inside you greater than any obstacle. Trust it. Nurture it. Let it lead you forward. 🌊💚

Recovery isn’t a straight line. Some days feel like wins, others feel like setbacks — but neither define you. What matters most is the courage to keep going, to get back up and to choose healing again and again. 💪💚

You’re not alone. Keep showing up. That’s strength.

Healing from addiction or mental health struggles isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about becoming who you were always meant to be. Every step you take, no matter how small, counts. Every day you choose to stay in the fight, matters. You’re not starting over — you’re starting with experience.
Keep going. You’re worth it.

In recovery and in life, it’s easy to get stuck replaying the past—what we did, what we lost or who we were. But healing happens right now. Every moment you stay present is a step forward. Stay focused. Stay grounded. You’re not who you were—you’re who you choose to become today. 💪🌱

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is not a life sentence — it’s a challenge, not a character flaw. Recovery is possible. With the right support, therapy and self-compassion, healing can happen. Progress might feel messy. You might fall back — but every step forward counts. You are not “too much.” You are not broken. You are learning how to feel deeply and live fully. Let’s break the stigma.
