Many insurance plans accepted - call us to find out if you are covered! Using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we are able to effectively treat our patients holistically, meaning a whole body approach; including mind, body, and spirit. Unfortunately, our patients typically come to us when they are desperate; when they have tried everything else. Most of our patients are in pain, they want to heal, they struggle to find relief, hope to start a family, look for a better quality of life, etc. The clinical effects of TCM practices (like acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, cupping, electrotherapy, etc.) Extremely fine needles are inserted to stimulate the release of endorphins and neurotransmitters. This ultimately helps relieve pain, reduces inflammation, improves circulation, stimulates nerve function, and releases muscle tension. Helping our patients find the missing puzzle pieces to their health brings us so much joy. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends acupuncture for over 200 conditions, including: Anxiety/Panic Attacks, Adverse reactions to Chemotherapy, Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Depression, Digestive Problems, Fibromyalgia, Headaches/Migraines, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Infertility, Insomnia, Menstrual Irregularities/ Hot Flashes, Nausea/Vomiting, Pain of many types, Neuropathy, Sciatica, Sports Injuries, and TMJ. The goal of Eastern Medicine is different from Western Medicine. Eastern Medicine focuses on encouraging the body to heal itself, which leads to homeostasis and improving function. TCM stimulates your body’s ability to utilize the circulation of life giving and healing blood. This helps your body achieve balance and vitality. Generally speaking, Western Medicine's primary focus is treating illness and managing symptoms with pharmaceutical drugs, surgery, and other interventions. Both types of medicine have strengths and weaknesses, both are equally important in healthcare, and both work well together. We love to partner with Western Medicine practitioners to achieve optimal healthcare goals for our patients. At Green Acupuncture our Board Certified Physicians are classically trained from medical schools specializing in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is worth mentioning that Acupuncture is very different from dry needling. One of the many differences is that a Chiropractor or PT will take 2-3 days of courses, as opposed to an Acupuncture Physician that completes an intensive 3-4 years for a Master’s or Doctorate degree. Our physicians care about providing gentle and effective treatments in a calm and relaxing environment. Our clinical focus is to help our patients achieve wellness regardless of what brings them to our office.
*We proudly provide care for Veterans, which is covered 100% through the VA’s Community Care program. A veteran can find relief from pain, PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, and so much more, with just a referral from their physician!
