It is with great sadness that we share the news of Yesseika’s passing after her courageous battle with breast cancer. Yesseika and her husband Dr. Acosta founded Legacy Dental Team with the dream of creating something lasting —a true Legacy. Though we took ownership in 2017, we recognize and honor that this practice will always be as much their legacy as it is ours. Yesseika leaves behind her husband and four beautiful children. To know her was to love her, and the heartbreak felt by all who hear of her passing is a testament to the extraordinary person she was and the many lives she touched. I know alot of our patients know and remember her. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Today, we want to take a moment to honor and appreciate a very special group among us — the incredible moms on our team. You don’t just show up here every day with dedication and hard work; you go home and give even more of yourselves as mothers, caretakers, role models, and nurturers.

We know it’s not always easy to juggle it all, but you do it with strength, grace, and love. Please know that what you do — both here and at home — does not go unnoticed. You inspire us with your resilience, compassion, and unwavering commitment.

From the bottom of our heart, thank you for everything you do. Happy Mother’s Day — you truly deserve to be celebrated every single day.

It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to someone as extraordinary as you. You’ve been more than just a fantastic dental assistant—a source of steady support, constant kindness, and genuine care for every patient and every one of us.

The dedication, compassion, and grace you’ve shown here leave no doubt that you’ll make an exceptional nurse. As bittersweet as this moment is, we couldn’t be more proud of you and excited for the path ahead. Nursing school will challenge you, but if there’s anyone who can rise to it with strength and heart, it’s you.

Thank you for the laughs, the hard work, the teamwork, and the unforgettable impact you’ve made. You’ll be deeply missed—but never far from our thoughts.
