To all our supporters and participants,

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support of Boys Town and our annual campus run.

The participants of the Boys Town run have come by the hundreds to run through our beautiful campus and support Boys Town programs. Your dedication and enthusiasm have been truly inspiring, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact you have made.

This year, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to host the Boys Town Run on our campus. Due to other youth activities and ongoing construction, we have had to make this decision.

While we will miss seeing you at the run this year, we want to remind you that you are always welcome to visit our campus. Whether you come to explore our award-winning Hall of History, take a tour of campus, or simply enjoy the beauty of our grounds, we would be thrilled to have you.

Thank you once again for your continued support of Boys Town. You have been a part of our traditions and memories for so long, and we are excited to see the future memories you will create with us.

“There is no such thing as a bad boy.” 106 years ago today, Father Edward Flanagan founded Boys Town on that belief. His dream was to create an America where children were valued, respected, loved, cared for, educated and guided so they could become good people, productive workers, involved citizens and caring, responsible parents for generations of children to come. Today, his dream continues. Learn more about our lifesaving work at boystown.org.

in 1917 the first group of boys arrived at Father Flanagan’s new children’s home. Father had decided to leave his work helping homeless men to concentrate on boys no one else wanted. Borrowing $90, he rented an old boarding house in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. He encouraged the homeless boys, many of whom lived in junkyards and railroad yards, to come and begin a new life in his home. Father Flanagan’s Home for Boys was a place where children received love and guidance without corporal punishment or verbal abuse. Within two weeks, more than 75 boys representing many different races and religions lived there. From these humble beginnings, Father Flanagan went on to change the way children were treated around the world. 106 years later, his legacy lives on thanks to the support of our incredible donors. https://bit.ly/3GDjOnD

Thank you for helping make this a success! 💙 When you donate directly to Father Flanagan's mission, we can ensure their children have the resources they need to grow into healthy, capable young adults. Hear directly from those children in this video.

edition! 🦃
On Thanksgiving the boys on campus would have a traditional dinner with all the fixings. Cooking all of the turkeys and side dishes was a major event carried out by the cooks with help from the boys. Each year, a special donor would provide the funds for the boys Thanksgiving feast. These days, the meals are prepared in each Family Home and past youth and families are often invited. It's a busy day here on campus. from our homes to yours. 🧡
