Never posted my head shots! But thought I would take a moment to tell you a little about my education and training! I graduated in 2011 from Belhaven University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2014, I earned a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Southern University at New Orleans. I have experience in outpatient and inpatient mental health hospitals, working with personality disorders, mood disorders, and addictive disorders. In my practice I primarily utilize two models: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and individuals and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for individuals and trauma work. I am certified in EMDR and continue to pursue additional training. As a therapist, I integrate my knowledge of mental health issues to help couples, families, and individuals problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and work toward positive outcomes in relationships!
